Nightshift Engineering Supervisor
Alexander Steele is recruiting an Engineering Supervisor for a leading food manufacturing business based in Worcestershire. The supervisor manages a team of 6 engineers or technicians, addressing any operational challenges, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing production processes during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all maintenance and engineering activities during the night shift. Ensure all equipment and systems are operational and running efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.
Background Experience:
HNC, HND or degree in electrical, mechanical or related engineering field (no preference to bias). 3+ years of experience in a supervisory/management role within a food manufacturing or processing environment. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels. Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
