Nightshift Manager

for the Timaru region based in our modern, purpose-built facilities in Timaru. This role will oversee the Night Operations function for the Timaru Branch, so you'll need experience in Warehousing and/or Logistics in a fast-paced environment where you are adept at juggling competing priorities with ease, dealing with a high volume of deadlines and most importantly leading your team in, at times, challenging situations that need your immediate and calm attention. You need demonstrable strong leadership skills and a natural and easy manner with people and a genuine can-do attitude: we all, regardless of role, do what it takes, when it matters, to assist our colleagues for the betterment of our customers. Health and Safety in all facets Individual & Group Coaching and Team Meetings Productivity and Efficacy to meet KPI's and deadlines Rostering for adequate resourcing to meet every changing needs Exceptional, regular and timely communication to and between all departments Ensuring efficient and accurate timely picking of goods for pack and load/dispatch Involvement and Leadership of pack and load for all orders and runs What we are looking for:

Ideally supervisory and/or leadership skills of a large, dynamic group or the maturity, experience and willingness to do so! A passion for continuous improvement/development Attention to detail and a good problem-solving mind Second to none time management and organizational skills A genuine desire for a physical role. This role is not a desk job, you'll ideally spend very little time in a seat. Physical fitness is required, with regular lifting of up to 20kg. A forklift license or the ability and willingness to attain one immediately Experience using various software applications more importantly that you are a fast learner when it comes to applications PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must be able to provide references and will be required to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test. Full (clean) NZ Driver's license is required.
