We are looking for a No. 2 Technician to join the race team supporting WEC and customer events around the world. You will ensure cars, spares and equipment are prepared on time and carry out any other tasks as directed by the Chief Mechanic, Engineering department and No.1 Technicians. This role requires periods of international travel to events throughout the year. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out work competently and within the times laid down by the No. 1 Technician/Chief Mechanic. Keep the No. 1 Technician informed at all times of any additional work necessary on a car during build or repair. Perform pit stops on event. Ensure car is always to the correct specification. Ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them. Adopt safe working practices at all times in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policy, drawing to the attention of the Chief Mechanic any matter of concern relating to safety of equipment or safety procedures they cannot resolve. Liaison with Engineering when required. Interact with other departments, ensuring there are no unnecessary delays. Maintain and improve site standards in accordance with company expectations. Carry out other adhoc duties requested by the Race Team management as the needs of the business may from time to time dictate. Demonstrate flexibility, prepared to work overtime, often without notice, as dictated by the demands of the business. Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in motorsport and sportscar with a strong ability to understand and interpret the build specification of a full car set up, and the ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately. You will have a proven record of carrying out a range of tasks including but not limited to all pit stop roles, garage build/strip and truck loading. You will be a team player and good communicator with teammates and engineers. What can we offer you?
