My client is a leading media and design communications organization, and this is an excellent opportunity to join in a new N1 Digital Printer role appointment. You will develop strong relationships with key internal business stakeholders, manage budgets, and run/manage a digital press and team providing excellent customer products.

This role offers the chance to work with experienced professionals who deliver high-quality products with fast turnarounds.

Required Skills:

Digital printer experience Managing a small team/workload Ability to work under tight deadlines Reliability as a team player and independent worker Proficiency in general computer skills and Front-End software

Main Duties:

Manage a small team, KPI's, workload, and 1-2-1's Ensure all work is completed within the predetermined time scale and be responsible for preparing digital print files for all variable production print. Offer support with print production when work permits. Operate all digital production print machinery within the digital print production areas to a high standard. Acquire a good working knowledge of all new production printers and RIPs introduced within the digital print environment. Carry out data submissions of print files and customer data files via mail merge and FTP applications. Set and proof personalized customer mailers using specialist PC/MAC applications. Understand mail sort databases and flagged variable data printing. Maintain and manage image files across production printer RIPs. Provide technical and specialist advice to Account Handlers. Maintain validation checks throughout production print runs and effective quality assurance techniques.

Additional Required Skills:

Proven previous digital pre-print experience, preferably with Konica/Canon suite experience. Proven PC literacy. Calm, organized, customer-focused, positive, and flexible.
