This post is one day a week at HMP YOI Thorn Cross and HMP Risley. Hours - 7.5 hours each day.
This position is full time, and you'll receive an annual salary up to
£54,332
per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job As a Non-Medical Prescriber your responsibilities will vary. You will:
Undertake Clinical Nursing Practice at an advanced level using expert knowledge and clinical skills
Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues
Provide treatment as required, including prescribing medication, within their sphere of competence
To carry out comprehensive assessments of patients looked after

Qualifications & Experience required
Registered professional with current active registration (NMC, GPHC, HCPC)
Non-medical prescribing qualification
Understanding and knowledge of policy developments related to the delivery
Knowledge of national standards that inform practice (e.g., National Service Frameworks, NICE guidelines, etc.)
