New AOC holder Ascend Airways are operating a small fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market, opening its first operational base at London Gatwick Airport. Acquired by Avia Solutions Group, already the world’s largest ACMI provider with over 200 airliners in operation. We are seeking candidates for positions as Non Type Rated Captains as we now offer a Type Rating Course. The offer includes a bond to cover the cost of the type rating course of £35,000 over 3 years. If the employment is left before the 3 years: Leaving time scale Amount to repay to the Company 1-12 Months after completion: Full cost of the course 13-24 Months after completion: Two thirds of the cost of the course 25-36 Months after completion: One third of the cost of the course Salary and remunerations £120,000 gross per annum (Basic Salary) £13 flight pay per block hour Loyalty payment from May 25 and then annually (£4000 pro rata for part time) Per diems while away from base paid at maximum tax free amount permissible, variable, depending on destination. Other terms A minimum of 10 days off per month 42 days annual leave A maximum of eight days’ leave between 1 June and 15 September Parking at your base paid by the Company. Medical renewals paid by the Company. 3 ‘golden days’ per year, on which you will be rostered days off at your home base Loss of license insurance Other benefits according to our policies and in force at that time. Travel insurance with Death insurance when traveling.
