Nondestructive Testing Engineer focuses on coordinate all ndt activities during allocated shifts, ensuring timely and accurate inspections.
What the role involves
- Coordinate all NDT activities during allocated shifts, ensuring timely and accurate inspections.
- Oversee UT, MPI, PT and VT techniques in accordance with relevant standards.
- Review, interpret and apply BS EN ISO, AWS and ASME specifications.
- Validate inspection reports for clarity, accuracy and traceability.
- Provide technical support, guidance and mentoring to junior inspectors and technicians.
Skills and requirements
- CSWIP 3.0 certified or above.
- PCN Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI.
- MT) & Ultrasonic (UT) 3.1, 3.2, 3.7.
- Proven NDT experience in Heavy Manufacturing.

- Days @ £26.22 per hour - Mon-Thurs 06:45am-17:00pm, Friday 06:45am-11:45am.
