North American Property Insurance Broker
We are looking for a permanent full-time Insurance Broker to join a North American Property team.
The role is London-based with the successful candidate having at least 5 years' experience in the Lloyd's and US insurance markets, with comprehensive knowledge of US property placements.
Key activities and responsibilities include:
- Broking and producing complex US and international property insurance and reinsurance.
- Developing, identifying and building relationships with US retail brokers to grow our US property business.
- Working with the senior management team to drive strategy.
- Travelling internationally to meet with producing brokers and clients to generate new business, enhance existing relationships and build a sales pipeline.
Required skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years-plus of proven experience as a producing and placing broker in the US property market.
- Strong relationships with all key underwriters in the relevant sectors.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Proven track record of establishing and building relationships with independent producers.
- Experience of managing other employees.

- Outgoing and engaging person who has gravitas and confidence in communicating with and influencing clients and senior management.
- A personal style with integrity which engenders confidence in others and the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally and to build business
- An ambitious self-starter who can work with our other teams to develop cross-product business opportunities
- Strong work and service ethics to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable, methodical, versatile with a keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy.
