13 February 2025 ROLE SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the Lead Coach with player selection, the delivery of the U15 Regional programme, and player feedback. Programme dates for the North are as follows: 05/05/2025 | Peer vs Peer | St Peter's York 26/05/2025 | Peer vs Peer | St Peter's York 26/06/2025 | Peer vs Peer | Harrogate Cricket Club 07/07/2025 | Peer vs Peer | Hartlepool CC or Alderley Edge CC 21/07/2024 | 2-Day | Midlands | NCPC, Loughborough University 02/08 to 08/08 2025 | Bunbury Festival | NCPC, Loughborough University NOMINATION & SELECTION Support Lead Coach to ensure a fair and robust selection process is administered. Attend and contribute to nomination and selection meetings. Support the Lead Coach to gather information on nominated players. Undertake player assessments as required. PROGRAMME DELIVERY Be present for the entire programme. Deliver coaching activities as directed by the Lead Coach. Create an outstanding development environment. Liaise with the Lead Coach to ensure necessary equipment is available for sessions and matches. Ensure player safety and welfare at all times. Always comply with safeguarding guidelines. Ensure appropriate staff to player ratio is always maintained (2 members of staff for squad of 14). Promote punctuality and the highest standards of conduct. COMMUNICATION Provide players with on-going performance feedback. Complete formal processes for selected and released players. Feedback to county coaches, as directed by Lead Coach. Complete scouting reports (as requested by Lead Coach). GENERAL Support Lead Coach with programme or match preparations. Participate in meetings relating to coaching delivery, nomination/selection etc. Role model high standards of personal and professional integrity at all times. Support Team Manager with welfare matters as requested. Undertake other duties as requested by the Lead Coach. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualified to at least ECB Advanced Coach (Level 3) or international equivalent. Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and Safeguarding Children certification – a DBS disclosure is an impartial and confidential document that details an individual’s criminal record and where appropriate gives details of those who are barred from working with children. A valid 1st aid certificate with AED. Strong background experience of coaching in the boy's talent pathway. Experience of Player ID/selection in boy's talent pathway. KEY TIMELINES Deadline for applications 5pm on 13th February 2025. Applications reviewed and outcomes communicated w/c 17 February. Interviews to be held on Thursday 6 March (online) with a view for the role to commence on 1st April 2025. How to apply:
