NPD Assistant - Brighton, East Sussex

As we expand our portfolio, we're searching for a proactive and detail-oriented professional passionate about innovation and collaboration. This role offers a unique opportunity to assist in the creation of market-leading products. In this role you will: 

  • Product Development Support: Assist the NPD team in the research, planning, and development of new products to ensure timely and successful launches.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyse market and consumer data to support product positioning and development decisions.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with UK and international suppliers, request product samples, and collaborate on product launches.
  • Sample Coordination: Work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure final samples are available for content creation prior to product launches.
  • Artwork Coordination: Ensure briefs are supplied and completed on time by the packaging team
  • Project Timeline Management: Maintain and update project timelines, ensuring that all project phases are on schedule. This involves tracking progress, identifying potential delays, and communicating any issues to relevant stakeholders to keep the project on track.

This is an office based role, up to 5 days a week onsite. 

About you: 

You'll come with experience working in a product related role (this could be NPD, innovation, operations or manufacturing) with passion about the nail industry, and a drive to get deep into the core of our business. 

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and trends, translating them into actionable product development insights.
  • Project Management: Demonstrable examples of leading projects including critical path creation, project management and managing internal processes.
  • Passion for Innovation: A genuine enthusiasm for product development and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Organisational Abilities: High level of organisation and attention to detail in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Team Player: Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, fostering supportive working relationships.
