Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with our client a leading supplier to the frozen foodservice industry on the appointment of NPD Assistant for their Newry based site. Reporting to the Technical Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting our NPD & Technical operations ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and HACCP protocols. Negotiable salary Company pension On site parking Staff rewards Employee recognition away days What your day to day will look like: Assist the NPD team in the research, planning, and development of new products to ensure timely and successful launches. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HACCP plans to ensure food safety and quality. Conduct regular quality assurance checks on products and processes, documenting findings accurately. Analyse data related to production processes and quality metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for enhancement in operational efficiency. Support the preparation of technical documentation and reports as required. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and best practices What you will need to succeed: Experience in NPD/Technical environment preferably with meat 3rd level qualification in food related discipline. Familiarity with HACCP principles and quality assurance methodologies is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
