We have an exciting career development opportunity at our Berwick site for a NPD Manager who wants to excel in a fast-paced, hands-on, client-driven food manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the site management team, this role will identify and successfully develop new products, as well as updating existing products, ensuring the implementation of process development and improvements are in line with business objectives, costs, and efficiencies.

Reporting to the Site Manager, key dynamics of the role include:

Create new and innovative ideas and engage with others as an inspiring food ambassador. Ensure that we meet and exceed customer expectations with new and innovative ideas and products. Plan and implement projects focused on successfully taking new products through to production, increasing line and people efficiencies, reducing variances and cost, enabling the improvement/simplification of current production processes. Responsible for formulating the processes in relation to NPD, to include agreeing settings for the equipment, resulting in a set of 'standard settings.' Ensure all ingredient, process development, and improvement activities are delivered to cost and to plan. Support internal customers in product improvement. Produce all internal data requirements. Produce visual and textual documentation for product launches. Support a 'learning environment,' i.e., one which facilitates the development and training of all colleagues to meet business needs.
