You will be working at a purpose built, ultramodern manufacturing facility and will play a key part in building the company’s formidable reputation for producing an innovative product range to keep up with the ever-growing market demands. About the NPD Manager job As NPD Manager, you will oversee the full product development process from concept to launch, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets. You will create innovative products, manage the critical path, and research market trends to maintain a competitive edge. Responsibilities include sourcing new ingredients, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring all products meet quality, safety, and legal standards. Key tasks Deliver product development in line with customer codes, BRC regulations, and FSA guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal and customer specifications. Collaborate with Technical, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to source raw materials, manage artwork, and introduce new case artwork that meets requirements. Coach and develop the NPD team, oversee process development, and chair weekly committee meetings to ensure progress and communication. Stay updated on food trends, conduct regular benchmarking, and redevelop products to meet industry standards and customer needs. About You You will be educated to degree level in food science or related subject. Qualified in food legislation, sensory training, and thermal processing. Experience of managing NPD team with multiple customers and projects. More details The NPD Manager job (ref:8771) is based in South Wales and is paying up to £60,000 according to your experience. Some travel (UK & European) and Multi-Site Management is required. The working hours are Monday to Friday, Office Hours with flexibility.
