Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated New Product Development (NPD) Manager to join a leading food manufacturer based in Newtownards. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual to contribute to the development of new, high-quality food products in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an NPD Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth through the successful development of new products and enhancements to the existing product range. Key Responsibilities: Lead the NPD process from concept through to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Production, and Quality. Develop and refine product ideas, ensuring they meet customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. Manage product trials, oversee sensory evaluations, and provide feedback to ensure products align with market demands and company objectives. Create and manage project timelines and ensure that product development milestones are met. Work with suppliers to source ingredients and materials that meet cost, quality, and sustainability standards. Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the successful launch and promotion of new products. Stay informed on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to guide innovation. Provide technical expertise and ensure that all new products comply with health and safety regulations, food safety, and quality standards. Qualifications & Experience: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in NPD within the food manufacturing sector. Strong project management skills and experience leading product development teams. Solid understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and product testing. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage with external suppliers and stakeholders. Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and product innovation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Please apply down below!
