ELCAD Engineer

to join our dynamic team in Redhill. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing electrical parts for Thermal products. The Electrical Engineer supports the design from start to finish and provides technical guidance to Supply Chain and Material Management in global and local locations to support New Product Development and sustaining products. The Electrical Engineer works with local and global teams both within Vertiv. What kind of work will you be doing? Designs control system and low voltage electrical enclosures. Supports electrical design for new product development. Creates and maintains components in the design tools. Works with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production builds. Develops test cases for electrical safety tests of products. Coordinates CE / UL testing of products. Collaborates with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing. What will make you successful? Good knowledge of working with DC / AC Power Supply, mainly, 24V – 48VDC / 400V – 3PH – 50Hz / 460V-3Ph-60Hz. 2-3 years of experience in Electrical panel development for thermal products. 2-3 years of experience using Electrical panel Life cycle management or Product documentation management tools. Fluency in English. Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs. Experience with ELCAD schematic or similar tools. Experience with VMM, oscilloscopes, and other debug tools. Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles. Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests on board level products. Experience in design for testability and manufacturability. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree. If
