We are currently seeking a Junior MCAD Engineer to join our dynamic team in Redhill / UK! The Mechanical Engineer supports new product development for liquid cooling. The Mechanical Engineer works closely with product designers to develop/support new product development of Liquid Cooling – Thermal Product. What kind of work will you be doing? Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team for New product development, Engineering to order for the following ranges of units:

Liquid Cooling Product, i.e. Cooling Distribution Unit, Out Door Heat Rejection Chiller Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) In Row Mobile

Design solutions with a focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal and piping), collaborating with suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs. Create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). Meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. Analyze and resolve technical problems regarding products under his/her responsibility; improve, update, and review the mechanical drawings according to the information from the Production, Procurement, and Logistics departments to simplify assembly, reduce costs, and improve quality. A high level of experienced CAD skill, combined with good attention to detail. What will make you successful? 2-5 years of engineering product development or support experience. Strong credentials in working with Mechanical Design tools,

MBD (Model Based Definition) experience preferred CREO preferred

Significant sheet metal design experience. Working knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety, and test methods. Data-entry systems familiarity & Bill of Material Creation Experience - Oracle, Agile, etc. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically. Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and operate in cross-functional Global Development Teams. Fluency in English.
