New Product Introduction Manager

About the Role: Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking an experienced Manager of New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead and optimise the commercialisation lifecycle of new products across multiple manufacturing facilities.

As the Manager of NPI, you will oversee the standardisation and enhancement of processes to ensure seamless new product launches. This role focuses on driving efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across project management, specification development, and data management. Key Responsibilities: Standardise and streamline NPI processes to improve customer interactions and experience. Project manage product release to market Ensure high adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for internal and external stakeholders. Manage approximately 300-500 product launches annually, ensuring timelines are met efficiently. Cultivate collaboration across teams, balancing operational and commercial priorities. Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of NPI processes. Develop innovative, manufacturing solutions by aligning commercial and technical needs. Lead cross-functional teams to optimise workflows and ensure project success. Desired Skills and Attributes Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on building collaborative and high-performing teams. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate. Proven ability to implement Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement practices. Expertise in project management tools and methodologies.

Qualifications: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field. Certifications in Project Management (PMP or CAPM) and Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred). 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or service operations environment. Experience with SAP ERP systems and design tools (CAD/CAM, SolidWorks) preferred. Additional Information: Travel requirement: up to 25-30%, including international travel. Knowledge of regulated industries (e.g., medical devices or pharma) is a plus.
