looking for a NPI/Process Improvement Engineer to

join their team in the new year . They are looking for an ambitious engineer to join their team, ready for the start of the new year. They are currently in the process of regulatory approvals on their first product/s and will be developing their next generation of products over the next few years. Their tech is novel and patented, and will have a huge positive impact on people’s lives. The purpose of this role is to be the manufacturing subject matter expert in CMO (Contractual Manufacturing Organisation) sites.

This role is remote: travel required to Head Office near Bristol (first 6 months) and CMO organisations currently located in West Suffolk (80%) and Kent (20%). Fuel & accommodation will be covered when needed! Role requirements: Technical support and contact for both head office & CMO sites Continuous improvement and cost reduction solutions Support to engineering teams (prototyping, DFM, material selection etc.) Review designs for approval (familiarity with 2D/3D/BOMs) Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards (ISO: 13485 & 14001) Assist in carrying out assembly trials Troubleshooting of products Experience: 5+ years experience in a similar role

(medical devices - advantageous; automotive, aerospace, pharma, food - considered) Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge of manufacturing assembly processes Clear ability to manage and work with sub-contractors/suppliers Experience in NPI CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks) Development of manufacturing process documentation If this is a role that interests you, please apply within.
