About the Firm We're working with a prestigious global law firm that's looking to expand its banking and finance team in Guernsey. Known for its top-tier work with major financial institutions and multinational corporations, this firm offers a unique opportunity to work on high-value, cross-border transactions in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role As an NQ Banking Solicitor, you'll be involved in a variety of banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, debt structuring, and regulatory issues. You'll work closely with senior lawyers and partners on complex, high-profile transactions, gaining exposure to both local and international clients.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and review of banking and finance documents (e.g., loan agreements, security documents). Conduct legal research and due diligence for high-stakes transactions. Provide support on cross-border matters and communicate with clients directly. Collaborate with senior lawyers on strategy, while contributing to business development.
What We're Looking For Newly qualified solicitor with a strong interest in banking and finance law. Excellent legal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships. Offshore legal experience or an interest in international work is a bonus.
