About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Manager to join our team at an elderly nursing home located in Pinner, UK / Harrow, UK. As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This is a full-time position, with flexible hours and a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of nurses and healthcare assistants Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards Develop and implement care plans for each resident Monitor and maintain resident records and documentation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for residents Handle any resident or family complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner Oversee medication administration and ensure proper protocols are followed Participate in the recruitment and training of new nursing staff Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staffRequirements:
Valid nursing license in the UK Proven experience as a Nurse Manager or similar role Excellent leadership and communication skills In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Compassionate and caring attitude towards elderly residents Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical recordsIf you are a motivated and compassionate Nurse Manager with a passion for providing exceptional care to the elderly, we encourage you to apply for this position.
