We deliver services for Urgent Treatment Centres, NHS 111, GP out of Hours and a National Clinical Assessment Service from our Urgent Care Division.
We have an exciting opportunity for Nurse Practitioner & Urgent Care Practitioners to join our team based in Staffordshire House.
As a Nurse Practitioner / Urgent Care Practitioner, you will support the team in delivering high quality, timely patient-centered care. You will be supported by either a GP or an Advanced Practitioner and undertake assessments for a range of health and clinical needs.
Your day to day…
The primary focus of the role is to work as a Nurse Practitioner / Urgent Care Practitioner providing high quality and timely patient-centered care. The post holder will:
Work as part of a team, within a defined area of practice, within their scope of practice and with access to support from a GP or Advanced Practitioner.
Undertake assessments of a range of health and clinical needs of a patient within scope of competence and using clinical practice skills and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.
Qualifications, Experience & Training…
Registered Nurse or paramedic – First Level Nurse or other healthcare professional with qualifications leading to registration.
Evidence of continuous professional development related to work as a non-medical practitioner.
Demonstrates advanced problem solving and decision-making skills supported using evidence-based and/or best practice.
Ability to assimilate large quantities of information quickly and accurately and communicate it clearly.
