Here at Educate, we are urgently recruiting for Nursery Assistants to work on a supply basis with nurseries in Flintshire and surrounding areas.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will have recent experience of supporting young children between the ages of 6 months to 3 years. Your role is to ensure each child has a positive, enjoyable, and creative experience whilst starting their learning journey.

Expectations of a Nursery Assistant:

Experience working with children would be beneficial, although no qualifications are required.

Knowledge of EYFS is beneficial.

Support the Nursery team with the daily running of the Nursery.

Assist with feeding, nap times, and activity setup/clear away.

Promote positive behaviour.

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Ability to plan on the spot or adapt an activity when needed.

Support children on a 1-2-1 basis, small group, or children with additional needs.

Flexibility and adaptability.
