Chertsey

to find a Childcare qualified Nursery assistant.

The suitable candidate will need to hold a level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification

and be able to work 3 days of their choice per week all year round. Flexibility is available so don't hesitate to apply to find out more! Role:

Nursery assistant Hours:

07:45 - 18:00 (3 fixed days per week) Hourly rate:

£14.00 - £16.00 Duties: Provide a stimulating play-rich environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all children and activities differentiated to ensure the needs of all children who attend are met. Work as part of a team leading and supporting other pre-school staff and volunteers. Liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure children are fully safeguarded. Implement an effective positive behaviour policy, ensuring consistency and taking into account children's levels of understanding and stages of development. Support nursery induction through home visits, selection of key person roles, and settling in procedures. Work with parents to ensure children’s individual needs are met; reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of children through parent discussions. Support the room leader to plan and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage Learning outcomes appropriately to meet the needs of all children through differentiation of tasks. Essential: Experience of working with children aged 2 to 5 years in an early years setting is preferred. Level 2 Childcare qualification or above. Jay will be in contact with all suitable candidates holding a level 2 or above childcare qualification to understand if you are happy with all details of the role.
