Nursery Assistant (NVQ Level 3 Required)

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Salary: £13.00 P/H

Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them to grow and develop in a safe and nurturing environment? We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to join our caring and professional team at a local primary school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of high-quality care and education to children aged 1-4. Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote the development of children's physical, emotional, and social skills. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual development plans. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for the children. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. Assist in the smooth running of the nursery and maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.

Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent qualification). A genuine passion for working with young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Ability to work as part of a team and individually. DBS check (we will assist with the process if needed).

Desirable Criteria: Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Paediatric first aid qualification (can be provided if required).
