About the Role:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting young children's early development, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting where they can flourish. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily activities of the nursery, including play, learning, and meal times.
- Help plan and implement activities that support children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Maintain the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care.
- Build positive relationships with children to boost their confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with nursery staff and teachers to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Help prepare and tidy nursery or classroom spaces to ensure a clean, organized environment.
- Monitor and record children's progress, contributing to reports as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, offering updates on their child's development and well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings is highly desirable.
- Caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting child development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous.
- Relevant childcare qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2 or 3) are beneficial but not mandatory.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
