Nursery Assistant
to join our team. This will be a
permanent role of 40 hours per week . The successful applicant will join an established team, looking after children in our Baby rooms. The Job The successful Nursery Assistant must be passionate about early years and delivering a very high standard of childcare. Ensure children's care, welfare and development is always met to a high standard. Observe the progress of each child individually, making observation reports, evaluating the children's progress, and identifying concerns. Connect with the children and possess a caring, respectful and positive attitude. Prepare the rooms before the children arrive according to the daily plans and tidy afterwards. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the children within your care. Assist with snack. Participate and help organise events, open days, trips. Attend room meetings and staff meetings. Undertake training as and when required. Complete daily checks and risk assessments. Assist with the planning of activities. Essential: Must have a level 2 or level 3 qualification in Childcare. Must have a genuine interest in children's learning and development. Enthusiasm and a passion for working with children. Desirable: First aid trained. Child Protection trained.
