Permanent or Fixed-Term About the Role: Randstad Education is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to support our partner nurseries and schools across East Grinstead. In this role, you'll be instrumental in fostering young children's early learning and development within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities: Support daily activities, including play, learning, and meal times. Assist in planning and delivering activities that encourage physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children. Build positive relationships with children, fostering their confidence and independence. Collaborate with nursery staff and teachers to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Prepare and tidy the nursery or classroom, maintaining a clean and organized space. Observe and document children's progress, contributing to reports as required. Communicate with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's development and well-being. Requirements: Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable. A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous. Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) are beneficial but not essential. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
