Their Early Years Provision is a dynamic and exciting place to work, combining both Nursery and Reception classes, with a free-flowing, Montessori-style approach to learning. This highly regarded primary school has a strong commitment to nurturing its young learners in a supportive and inclusive environment. Job Description: As a Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside the Early Years team, supporting children in both Nursery and Reception. Your role will include assisting with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment, and providing individualized support to help children develop both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of the Early Years curriculum in the combined Nursery and Reception class. Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities. Help create a nurturing, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Provide individualized support for children, promoting their development and well-being. Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess children's progress. Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times. Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and carers. Essential Requirements: Prior experience working with children, ideally within the Early Years or Education sector. A passion for supporting young children's learning and development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
