Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification A health club based in Surbiton is looking for a qualified Nursery Assistant to join their growing team. The candidate must have a basic understanding of safeguarding and be able to learn new skills quickly. The client is looking for candidates who live locally. Nursery Assistant Duties:
Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of childcare practice and provision. Build positive relationships with staff and the parents and carers of the children. Ensure that each child is cared for and treated as an individual so that their development needs are met. Contribute to the smooth running of the Nursery, ensuring high standards are met. Update parents and carers about their child's progress and behaviour by observing and keeping daily records. Help maintain and organise a clean, tidy, child-friendly environment. Teach general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners. Nursery Assistant Specification:
Experience working in a nursery or with children is beneficial. Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification. Must live locally to the Surbiton Kingston area. Strong communication skills.
