We are looking to recruit a full-time Nursery Assistant to our team. Are you enthusiastic, not afraid to get dirty, and able to get down to a child's level to encourage them to get their best from being at Nursery? The job does have some challenges, but you will be working as part of a team to deliver care and education to the children. Main Duties of the Job

Leadership and Improvement Training South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff. This training programme has been designed to support our staff in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the following training sessions: Service Improvement for Beginners. After you complete these one and a half days of training, you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We also offer a range of additional in-house courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team. Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

NNEB/BTEC/NVQ 3 in Early Years and Education or other relevant childcare qualification GCSE English grade C or equivalent in English 12-hour Paediatric first aid qualification Knowledge

Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the Requirements of the Childcare Act 2009 Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and processes Knowledge of Ofsted standards & regulations Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Experience of working with Early Years Foundation Stage Relevant experience within a childcare setting Disclosure and Barring Service Check
