Nursery Assistant
Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £10.00 - 12.50 per hour Do you have previous experience caring for young children under the age of 5? TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with private day nurseries in Huddersfield (HD5). The nurseries provide a high standard of care for children ages between 6 months – 5 years, supporting them as they begin their learning journey. The nurseries are dedicated to ensuring every child is given the best start in life and all their needs are met. TeacherActive is searching for part-time Nursery Assistants to help with day-to-day cover in the nurseries across Huddersfield, helping cover sickness and annual leave. The successful Nursery Assistants will be flexible and happy going to different nurseries, and confident working with children of all ages. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with children under the age of 5, and a good understanding of how they learn and develop. The successful Nursery Assistant will: Be confident working with children of all ages, and able to adapt to different challenges. Have a good understanding of the EYFS, and how best to support children’s learning and development. Be passionate about working with young children and helping them learn new skills.
