Role Overview: As a Nursery Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will help ensure that the highest standards of care and education are maintained while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities: Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the operational management of the nursery. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and early years education standards. Lead and support staff, providing training and guidance as required. Assist in planning and implementing a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of each individual child. Monitor and support children's progress and development, ensuring all children are safe, happy, and engaged. Build strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively regarding children's progress and well-being. Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence, taking on managerial responsibilities as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential) Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an early years setting (essential). Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and relevant legislation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team. A passion for working with young children and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Safeguarding qualification and First Aid certification (desirable).
