Nursery Lead (qualified to Level 3)
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 30-35 hours per week, morning hours are essential.
Hourly rate: £12.10 - £13 per hour (based on experience)
Are you passionate about educating young minds and making a difference to the lives of children? An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of our highly experienced team in the Refuge. We are aiming to recruit a motivated person, with a desire to support vulnerable families in an early year setting. The post is based within the OFSTED Registered Nursery setting and you will be part of the team leading the nursery provision and supporting the wider team in working with other children in the Refuge.
Purpose of the role: The role is based at Lewis House, a dedicated Refuge with 22 self-contained flats and outstanding OFSTED rated Children’s Nursery. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear love for working with children, and a commitment to supporting children’s early learning and development in line with the early years’ foundation stage.
Key Skills: You will be expected to:
demonstrate excellent communication skills. lead a small team. be confident in liaising with children’s families.
