Deputy Nursery Manager (Maternity Cover with Potential for Permanent Position) We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our clients fabulous team on a maternity cover basis, with the exciting possibility of a permanent role. This opportunity is within a recently built, state-of-the-art nursery located in a desirable area, offering a supportive and nurturing environment for both children and staff. About the Nursery: A beautifully designed, modern nursery with cutting-edge facilities. Located in a highly sought-after area, providing a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for young learners. Part of a reputable nursery group known for its commitment to excellence in early years education. Role Responsibilities: Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead and motivate a team of childcare professionals to deliver the highest standards of care and education. Support in the planning and implementation of the curriculum, fostering a rich learning environment for all children. Manage staff development and training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Build strong partnerships with parents, providing them with regular feedback and fostering a welcoming, inclusive community. What We’re Looking For: A Level 3 qualification in childcare (or equivalent) with substantial experience in an early years setting. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality early years education. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. A proactive, flexible approach with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
