Only available to candidates who apply directly to Mama Bear's Day Nursery and is subject to our terms and conditions. We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Manager to join and lead our friendly team in Whitchurch Bristol.

We are focused on providing outstanding care to children from 3 months old to 4 years of age. If you are looking to take the next step in your career, this role could be for you! The setting is conveniently located on the Bristol road with good transport links and has the added convenience of onsite parking. The nursery is a dedicated pre-school taking children from 2 years old upwards and offers a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment. In the Pre School, children are prepared for ‘big school’ while still being able to enjoy exploring their surroundings at their own pace. We are searching for someone who is as passionate about providing an exceptional standard of care as we are. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Management of the nursery and the overall care and education for the children in the setting. Conducting meetings with staff members and ensuring effective staff deployment. Ensuring that the safeguarding and welfare of the children is always paramount in the nursery, ensuring overall compliance with statutory legislations and frameworks. Assume responsibility for the daily operation of the nursery with agreed plans and budgets and that the nursery target occupancy levels are met. Financial management with responsibilities for monitoring and reporting own budget, income expenditure, forecast budget, and occupancy. Supporting the care and education of the children in the nursery within a key person structure, promoting good practice and being a role model for other staff and children. Successful candidates will be qualified to a minimum of

Level 3 in a full and relevant Early Years qualification.
