35,000 - 45,000/annum Start: ASAP We have an exciting opportunity for a talented childcare professional to step into the role of a Nursery Manager in Croydon. In this position, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding care and education while overseeing staff performance and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of the nursery. Key Responsibilities as a Nursery Manager: Create and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, as well as health and safety standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a positive and efficient working environment. Apply expertise in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to enrich children's learning experiences. Actively participate in team meetings and pursue opportunities for ongoing professional growth. Requirements: Eligibility to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one. A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years, though candidates with Level 2 qualifications may also be considered. Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families. A proactive approach and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
