Nursery Manager Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting an experienced Nursery Manager for a fantastic quality nursery based in West Ealing, London. The successful candidate must have a real passion for childcare and be able to bring fun, joy, smiles, and laughter to the children whilst providing a safe, high-quality education with positive outcomes for each child. Essential Criteria Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+). Knowledgeable in areas relating to child development. 5+ years post-qualification experience shaping little lives, with proven Management skills. A passion for a play-based approach to children’s learning and development. Great communication skills, including the ability to understand babble. Key Responsibilities To lead and manage the nursery on a day-to-day basis, providing safe, high-quality education and care for all children. To take responsibility for ensuring that performance management systems are in place and followed e.g. induction, probation, supervision, team meetings, objective setting etc. To draw up and supervise the daily programme of activities and events. Children Centre sites: To liaise regularly with Locality Leads/Managers, attend Safeguarding/Help Meetings, and oversee case files. To liaise with the senior/management and/or Directors, early years team, Ofsted services, and other professionals as necessary and ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are implemented, and to provide reports as required. Ensuring the nursery is GDPR compliant in line with the policies and procedures. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Director of Childcare & Operations/Senior Manager/Director, in accordance with the setting’s business plan/objectives. Maximising occupancy levels through proactive marketing, outstanding presentation of the nursery, and quick and efficient follow-ups. Undertake time in the nursery rooms as a role model. Build strong relationships with parents and staff. Provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring educational environment for children.
