Overview We are looking for an additional Nursery Manager to work alongside our current Manager to support the daily operations of our busy nursery. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare. Strong skills are required in communication with both staff and parents, ensuring a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for managing the nursery’s curriculum, staff, and overall environment to promote the development and well-being of every child. Duties Lead and manage the nursery team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to early childhood education. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Oversee daily operations, including staff inductions, reviews, and ongoing training. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies to support their growth. Organise training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in childcare practices. Promote a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Safeguard the children in our care, with the appropriate training and knowledge. Requirements Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery setting. Experience in managing nursery operations is highly desirable.
