Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of an Outstanding Nursery in Notting Hill. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment for children, ensuring their safety and development while managing a team of childcare professionals. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff to foster a positive working environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children at all times. Oversee the planning of activities that encourage physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Ensure all records are maintained accurately, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery’s reputation within the community. Requirements Proven experience in childcare management or a similar role within a nursery setting. Strong leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills. A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years.
