21618_22501_284001 Description About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our onsite nursery, providing a nurturing and high-quality childcare environment for the children of our Butlin’s Team Members. In this exciting role, you’ll oversee all aspects of the nursery’s operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and creating a positive, engaging setting for young children. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and improving service standards, managing the nursery’s financial performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You’ll be supported by the People Senior Manager, as well as a dedicated Assistant Manager, to ensure the smooth daily running of the nursery and exceed the expectations of children, parents, and guardians. About You

As Nursery Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Nursery, ensuring a welcoming, family-friendly environment and the highest standards of care and education. You’ll lead the team, drive strategic planning, and ensure effective communication with families and partners. Your responsibilities include admissions, resource management, and maintaining records while providing regular updates to parents on their child’s progress. You will also closely monitor P&L, parent feedback and grow the occupancy of the nursery to ensure the venue, and your team are set up for success and we are taking opportunities to improve where we can. Safety and compliance with statutory requirements, EYFS principles, and safeguarding policies will be central to your role. You'll inspire the team to deliver exceptional childcare and a nurturing environment every day. Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least two years of nursery management experience, strong Early Years knowledge, and a relevant qualification like CACHE Diploma or NVQ Level 3/4. A solid grasp of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Ofsted regulations, Health & Safety, and Equal Opportunities is essential. Taking overall responsibility for all Health and Safety paperwork across the nursery e.g. ensuring food hygiene paperwork up to date, open and closing checks, visual risk assessments. You should be a problem-solver with great attention to detail, capable of prioritising and delegating tasks.
