New Year, New Start! We are currently seeking a dynamic Nursery Manager to join our small friendly bunch of managers. We welcome applications from experienced managers and deputy managers who are passionate about delivering high quality care and learning opportunities for children. A bit about us... We are a group of five nurseries all based in Salford. We are a strong team of five managers who support each other, sharing ideas along with our nursery director who is very active and supportive within the nurseries. We regularly attend training events and conferences to support and build our knowledge of the early years sector. We have two full-time SENDCos and a receptionist who are supernumerary to support you with daily tasks. Each year we hold a training day where all our nurseries close and we invite a number of guest speakers. This includes safeguarding for all staff so they do not have to attend out of hours. All managers are invited to deliver training which is specific to their nursery. What would be your key responsibilities: To lead the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including overseeing planning and record keeping. Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members. Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies. Remain abreast of current developments in childcare and education policies and practices. Maintain accurate accounts for the nursery and produce management information in accordance with company procedures. Lead the preparation and delivery of regular staff meetings, planning meetings, parents meetings, and other events. Use the computer effectively for storing information using the nursery software system.
