We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, qualified Nursery Manager for our new family-run private day nursery in Whitley Bay. The 40-place setting is newly registered with Ofsted and we aim to open in April 2024. The perfect candidate must have a warm and friendly manner and be passionate about the role. They must be creative within the nursery to make it the best it possibly can be for all children and staff. The successful candidate must be a caring individual with a proven ability to support the Area Manager in running a busy, challenging children’s nursery to ensure that all children receive the best outcomes in their early years learning journey. Our mission is to make our parents' lives as easy as possible by providing a caring and nurturing environment that allows children to learn, play, be curious, and make friends, and most of all have fun while their grown-ups work. Candidates must have good communication skills and be able to support and lead our lovely and hard-working staff team in a supportive and encouraging way. Candidates must support the staff team to deliver and ensure high standards of care, learning, and development for all children and ensure the nursery meets OFSTED requirements. Candidates must support the staff team to ensure the nursery is a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for everyone and comply with all current safety standards. Essential Criteria:

An enhanced DBS check to confirm their suitability to work with children. Previous experience in a management role within a childcare setting. A minimum of level 3 qualification in childcare. All relevant safeguarding qualifications. Preferred Criteria:

Knowledge and experience of using Seasaw software system. Knowledge and experience of using EYMan software system. Knowledge and experience of leading a staff team through an Ofsted inspection. 37 hours per week Monday to Friday all year round. The nursery will be closed on all bank holidays, one staff training day per year, and during the Christmas holidays. Job Types:
