Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager/Deputy to help oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. As the Nursery Manager/Deputy, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while managing staff and ensuring compliance with regulations. Duties Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and nursery activities. Ensure the nursery meets all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages children's learning and growth. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt programmes as needed. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and incidents as required by regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred. Experience working in a nursery setting is highly desirable. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided at the nursery.
