The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a stimulating and supportive environment where every child feels valued and respected. Responsibilities: Engage children in a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Provide personalized care and support to meet the individual needs of each child, including feeding, changing, and comforting as required. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration. Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents/carers on a regular basis. Create a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting good hygiene practices. Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through play, exploration, and guided activities. Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education). Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in a nursery or childcare setting. Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation in early years practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
