ASAP About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join one of our partner nurseries on the outskirts of Southampton. This is a full-time role that offers the opportunity to work with young children, supporting their development and learning in a nurturing, stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for early years education and be committed to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-4. Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support the development of key skills, including communication, social interaction, and early literacy and numeracy. Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and sharing information with parents and colleagues. Support children’s emotional and social development, providing a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the nursery. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Assist with the maintenance of a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for the children. Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines. Skills and Qualifications:

Level 3 Nursery Nurse qualification (or equivalent) is essential. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is preferred. A good understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment.
