Purpose of the Role:

Provide high-standard physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children. Support and Communication:
Maintain effective communication and support within the team. Team Collaboration:
Create an enabling environment for children to play, learn, and develop. Parent Engagement:
Build strong relationships with parents to meet each child's needs. Stimulating Environment:
Offer fun, engaging environments that support children's interests and learning. Safeguarding:
Recognize safeguarding signs and follow procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: EYFS Implementation:
Deliver and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Record Keeping:
Maintain high standards of record-keeping and update children's online learning journals. Parent Partnerships:
Communicate effectively with parents to support children's learning and care. Encouraging Home Learning:
Engage parents in their child's learning journey at home. Quality Environment:
Ensure a high-quality environment with appropriate resources and support for all children. Safeguarding Training:
Attend and apply safeguarding training. Reporting Procedures:
Follow correct procedures for safeguarding concerns. Out of Hours Activities:
Participate in activities such as open days and training. Flexibility:
Undertake various duties as needed, including domestic tasks and food preparation. Team Collaboration:
Work with the management team to fulfill the setting's values and philosophy.
Qualifications and Skills: NVQ Level 3 - Early Years Education and Care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of the EYFS framework Understanding of safeguarding practices
