Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. Your leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in managing daily activities and supporting both children and fellow staff members. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and community involvement. Requirements Experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning experiences. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children.
