Nursery Practitioner and Senior Room Leader Option for either a Practitioner /Senior Practitioner or a Room leader Level 2 or 3 qualified + All senior staff must hold level 3 or higher. Part time or full time hours. We are currently recruiting a Nursery pre-school Practitioner and Senior Room Leader for our beautiful, forward-thinking children’s day nursery and preschool in Surbiton. We cater for children from 2-5 years with two dedicated preschool rooms. We are seeking individuals who can promote high-quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children from 2-5 years. Main responsibilities and duties: Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence, and a range of experiences while meeting all of the children's needs. Have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning. Ensure a safe, secure, and caring environment for the well-being of the children. Assist the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day-to-day high-quality childcare. The ideal candidate will: Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play, and be safe. Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five. Be qualified to NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent (Higher) in Early Years childcare. Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages. Benefits & Remuneration: Regular team events.
