Overview

We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care and educational experiences for young children. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery, assisting with educational activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.

This is a full-time position at a nursery in the Bromley area.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the planning and delivery of educational activities and play opportunities Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times Supporting children with personal care routines, such as feeding and nappy changing Collaborating with other nursery staff to create a positive and inclusive environment Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and well-being Maintaining a clean and organized nursery environment

Qualifications

A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) NVQ, BA in Early Childhood Studies, Qualified Nursery Nurse etc. 1 year's childcare experience minimum Knowledge of the EYFS framework A passion for working with young children and supporting their development Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well as part of a team A commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion

Day-to-day

Engaging with children in interactive play and learning activities Assisting with meal times and snack preparation Participating in staff meetings and training sessions Collaborating with other staff to create and implement engaging learning experiences Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children and their families
