Job Summary We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our team. We are looking for one post as term time only.

The perfect candidate must have a warm and friendly manner and be passionate about their role. The candidate must be able to work well as a team to provide the best learning opportunities for the children by providing a caring and nurturing environment that allows children to learn, play, be curious and make friends and most of all have fun. They must have excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of safeguarding and children’s learning and development.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

Provide high quality childcare.

Work as a team.

Build strong bonds with children and their parents.

Plan and observe for the children you are working with.

Complete observations and assessments when needed.

Key Qualifications

Full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years. Successful applicants are required to complete an enhanced DBS check or be registered on the update service.

Essential Skills

Sound understanding of the updated EYFS and an ability to fully implement all of its requirements, including the recent changes.

Sound understanding of child development.

Ability to work with parents and encourage their involvement.

Ability to work in partnership with others and communicate effectively.

Ability to manage self and work calmly under pressure.

Demonstrate professionalism in all areas of your job role.

A nurturing attitude with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.

From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours:

No less than 16 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Education:

Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

Nursery: 2 years (required)

Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
